Heat Transfer

For films that protect against thermal and infrared radiation—particularly for custom applications—go with the experts. Our decades of experience in the metallization and lamination of a range of polymeric films and nonwoven membranes make us the ideal partner for innovative insulation solutions tailored to meet your needs. Our films deliver both durability and corrosion resistance at low levels of emissivity. They’re widely used as transfer metallization for thin insulation, protective clothing; for thermal targets; and, laminated to spun, nonwoven fabric, for window blinds and membranes for thermal clothing.

For protective clothing
Around the world, our customers laminate our thin, flexible, extremely reflective films to high-performance substrates such as Kevlar® or fiberglass and then further process them into fire-proximity clothing, protective gear or high-temperature cladding for pipes and engines. We achieve optimal insulation from thermal and infrared radiation through highly controlled levels of aluminum deposited on one or both surfaces of the film. An extremely clear, protective lacquer coating covers the metal to enhance durability and maintain low emissivity.
