Copper Skin™ on Al Foil: The Cost-Effective Alternative to Copper Foil

Copper Skin™ foil, an innovative process of aluminum foil coated with a proprietary copper surface, offers the electrical connectivity and solderability of copper foil at a significantly reduced cost. This highly conductive material is compatible with standard soldering processes and exhibits high corrosion resistance. Compared to traditional copper foil, Copper Skin™ foil can reduce raw material costs by up to 30%. 

Some typical applications include flexible electronics, heaters, LED lighting, OLED back contact, PV module back electrodes, and single-layer PCB/FPC. 

Copper Skin™ foil is available laminated to various carrier films commonly used in the electronics industry. Custom development is also available.
